Yoga for Today is Offering Online Classes

Here's how:

  • Classes will be held via online meeting software Zoom.  To save time, download Zoom onto your laptop, desktop, tablet or smartphone before class.  Create your free account and be sure to use the same First and Last name registered in Mindbody with us.

Signing up for class:

  • Sign up for class as you normally would on the Mindbody app or below using your membership or class packages.  Note that all times are AZ time (MST).

  • Registration will close 10 minutes prior to class start time.  We will send you a unique link to a Zoom meeting via email and we need that time prior to class to get the links out to everyone.  Click the link 5 to 10 minutes before class time to join your virtual classroom!

  • Set yourself up in a space with astrong internet signal, with your yoga mat and any props or alternatives you have.  Towels, books, and belts can stand in for rolled-up mats, blocks, and straps.  Review Michele's blog post for ideas on alternative at home props

  • There will be no music played during class but you are welcome to play music at home since you will be muted during the call.

Thank you for your patience...

As we work to implement this new business model.  We are learning as we go!  The fastest way to get in touch with us directly is via email, which we are checking several times a day.

Mondays at 5:30 am & 6 pm

Sundays at 10:30 am

Movement with intention. We start with a gentle warm up, moving into standing/balancing poses, and finishing with stretches before a final rest. Our focus varies from class to class, on particular body parts (hips, shoulders, etc.) or building to a specific pose. Throughout the class, we are creating a connection between our breath and our movement.

Wednesdays at 6 pm

A challenging movement class. We start with a warm up, moving into standing/balancing poses, working our way to a challenging peak pose. We cool down with stretches before a final rest.

Saturdays at 10:30 am

This class focuses on unwinding the tension in your back and building strength in all the muscles of the torso. A lot of attention is given to alignment. Poses include twists, gentle back bends and core strength. Class is beneficial for students with back troubles as well as those students who spend all day sitting.

Wednesdays at 4 pm

A simple practice excellent for beginners or students working with an injury. This is an ancient practice that combines movement with breath work. Emphasis is placed on breath work and connecting your breath to movement.  Class can be done standing or while seated in a chair.  We do sit at the end of class for a few moments of meditation.

Bringing Movement to You
